Bo-vironment is a family owned and operated, multidimensional regenerative and restoration focused cattle company based in Limpopo province but nationally operational. The management team has over 50 years of combined experience in cattle ranching, equine and bovine hoof care and holistic land management.
Bo-vironment is a pioneering company that takes on complex projects and builds long lasting relationships with clients by successful stewardship and completion. Fundamentally we value environmental restoration and lasting improvement that includes the local community and upliftment. These key factors are incorporated into every project that Bo-vironment undertakes.

Meet Jaco de Bruin, our dedicated CEO and Founder. With a remarkable career spanning 30 years in cattle hoof health and lameness, complemented by two decades of experience in regenerative farming, Jaco is a true visionary at the intersection of farming and environmental stewardship. He’s not just a pioneer; he’s a transformative force. Through innovative land use management and the application of livestock under Ultra-High-Density Grazing (UHDG), Jaco has achieved extraordinary results, rebuilt lost topsoil, and increased the farm’s carrying capacity from 1 LSU / 7Ha to an impressive 1 LSU / 0.5 Ha.

For Jaco, the future of mining site rehabilitation is luminous when approached from a regenerative agricultural standpoint. His vision entails pioneering methods that result in superior outcomes at lower costs, benefitting both mining companies and the environment.
